Founded in Clearwater, Florida in 2010 by Jim Reese, Florida Precision Tool (FPT) is a second generation family-owned business specializing in precision bolting, lifting, and calibration products and services. What began as a sole proprietorship has grown into a trusted, fully incorporated company meeting industrial customer needs across the Southeast United States and across the country.

Jim started FPT after years of experience representing Florida Hytorc, one of the industry’s most recognized names in hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment. Recognizing the need for a responsive partner in the industry, Jim established FPT to better meet customer demands for high-quality equipment, expert services, and reliable equipment rentals.
